Welcome to “another day in Paradise”. - Imagine looking out over the Bay and Town of Zihuatanejo far south on the Mexican Riviera; you first see the sun rising on the fishing boats, catamarans and the occasional cruise ship before dwelling on Playa La Ropa, (the most desirable beach in the beautiful State of Guerrero). After hours of enjoying consistent 25 celceus/82 Fahrenheit, (and a dip in the beckoning pool), its back to the pleasant shade of the large Mexican tiled “terraza” in time to watch the sun setting on hills surrounding the Bay and finally in to the azure of the Pacific Ocean.

Part of the magic of AGAVE BLUE is the fabulous views looking out over Playa Ropa, Zihuatanejo Town and Bay. The Casa is tastefully decorated with many accents that are uniquely Mexican. The approximately 2200 square feet of space includes three spacious bedrooms each with en suite. The living/dining  area is supported with a very functional kitchen for those that want to self-cater; there is also a barbecue and wine/beer fridge on the 700 square foot deck with a great variety of tropical plants. All rooms have ceiling fans as well as air conditioning in all bedrooms to make a holiday enjoyable at any time of the year.

The Location

AGAVE BLUE is situated in a small condominium development called Punta Marina. This is located within the tropical setting of the foothills of the Southern Sierra Madre, just above the south end of La Ropa Beach and about two kilometres from the center of Zihuatanejo. Just down from the large swimming pool is easy access down a flight of steps and on to all the wonders of La Ropa Beach. Three of the great hotels of the world are here including Villa Del Sol, Club Intrawest and Casa Que Canta, (voted the top hotel in Mexico and in the top 10 boutique hotels in the world)!   The town retains its wonderful authentic Mexican charm with bountiful fishing as the mainstay for local residents. Yes, this is the destination made somewhat famous in the movie “The Shawshank Redemption”.
